The original JG54 '* Grünherz' were the elite Messerschmitt squadrons in World War II. Some of the highest scoring flying aces were in the JG54. Club prospect , Richard Beck's Oval dash Split window bug , at the bodywork stage . Rich has been working on his bug for a few years now , and it's nearly ready for paint . It will have a Fuel injected 2276 cc engine , 10.5 to 1 compression , Web-cam 86b , CB 044 ( 42x37.5 mm ) heads . Rich has IRS'd the car , and it will run a 3.88 R&P Rancho Pro-Street IRS gearbox . Rich has put many many details into the car , and taken his time getting everything just right . The car will be running detailed Fuchs wheels .
