Colin's 69 Cabrio

Colin is a good friend of Alex Taylor at Defcon-3 . He runs a body and paintshop named Kustom Kolors in Bournemouth , near to Alex's workshop . They have worked on many projects together , including Chris Lincoln's completely revamped Oval ( Pic's to come ) , Gary Richards' 67 and others in the pipeline .

Having owned stock VW's , then Hot Rods , Colin had a ride in Alex's " Black Bitch " 67 . The 2276 IDA'd 67 , made Colin decide it was time for a Hi-Po VW . He found the base 69 model car and Alex did all the welding repairs for him . Alex also detailed the Fuschs wheels , narrowed a front beam 2" , and helped out with many aspects of the build . It was shown for the first time at the VolksWorld Show .
