JG54 Greenhearts

The JG54 'Green Hearts'* are a club for hardcore Cal-Look Volkswagens. Cars in the club must run quicker than 15.99 seconds in the 1/4 mile. The original JG54 '* Grünherz' were the elite Messerschmitt squadrons in World War II. Some of the highest scoring flying aces were in the JG54. Alex's 63

The gearbox , a full tilt Transwest box , had been solidly mounted to the car . I have tried this on a few club cars , and it causes lots of problems if the car gets driven regularly and over long distances , as many of the club cars do . the tinware tends to crack from vibration , along with other problems . So we refitted the gearbox with CB Rhino poly mounts , I have been using these on club cars with much success .
