JG54 Greenhearts

The JG54 'Green Hearts'* are a club for hardcore Cal-Look Volkswagens. Cars in the club must run quicker than 15.99 seconds in the 1/4 mile. The original JG54 '* Grünherz' were the elite Messerschmitt squadrons in World War II. Some of the highest scoring flying aces were in the JG54. Cider Simon's 67 Hovercraft

With twin fan assisted Mesa coolers under the gearbox , Simon's 11 to 1 Competition Eliminator headed RIPPER , won't get hot under the collar .

I like the car but why would you need two oil coolers.

The car needs 2 oil coolers , as it is not running one on the engine , and is running 11 to 1 , with Competition Eliminator heads , so I am using an early style 1200 fan housing ( not 30hp shape ) , without the single port type of oil cooler in it , so all the cooling air goes to the heads ( where all the heat is ) . So I am relying on the 2 other coolers for all the oil cooling duties .
